       Welcome to Canterbury Pilgrims Model Flying Club, we are currently able to take new members   application form here  please read on for more information about the club

This is a thriving, active model club situated in north-east Kent. We have two main flying fields in the area, both used in the summer and one in winter. The most popular flying time is Sunday.

 CPMFC is an affiliated member of the British Model Flying Association (BMFA), the national body for the sport. Among other things, the BMFA provide third party insurance and issue guidelines on safe flying. These are adhered to at all times.

All types of model aircraft are flown by our members. The most popular are fixed-wing power although helicopters are becoming more prominent in recent years,  a few also get involved in thermal and powered gliders in the Kent Interclub competitions and we also have access to excellent slope-soaring sites near Folkestone. Electric flight is gaining popularity and some have a go at indoor flying.

The Club is happy to offer FREE buddy-box training facilities to learners. All our instructors are qualified to at least BMFA 'B' certificate standard.

Club meetings are monthly on the last  Monday of the month at Blean Village Hall,  8.15pm start, or you might like to visit our field on a Sunday
